How accurate are your weather stations?
Our sensors utilize patented Self-Calibrating Forecasting technology to provide a personal forecast for your exact location with professional-grade accuracy.
Do I need a Wi-Fi connection for my weather station to work?
While basic monitoring works via radio frequency between the sensor and display, a Wi-Fi connection is required to stream data to the My AcuRite app and wunderground.com.
What is the wireless range of the outdoor sensors?
Most sensors feature a 330-foot (100-meter) wireless range depending on the construction materials of your home and potential electronic interference.
How often should I clean my rain gauge?
We recommend inspecting and cleaning the rain collector every 6 months to remove debris, leaves, or insects that may affect measurement accuracy.
Can I add additional sensors to my existing display?
Many of our multi-sensor displays can support up to 3 compatible indoor/outdoor sensors simultaneously. Check your specific model's compatibility list.
What batteries are recommended for outdoor sensors?
We strongly recommend using lithium batteries in outdoor sensors for temperatures below -4°F (-20°C) to ensure consistent power and performance.
